Aqua Cast is an environmentally friendly fusion of powder and polymer which only needs the addition of water to cast anything your imagination creates!

You can add resiTint acrylic inks to add pops of color or try layers of colors and the naturally beautiful natural ivory color of the product.  Add resiTint acrylic ink to the water into during the mixing stage when adding to your Aqua Cast powder for the best result.

Terrazzo effect can be created on coasters, homeware, and home decor using your scraps or by creating multicolor shards of dry Aqua Cast and adding to the mold edges and bottom.  Any solid can be added for different styles of casting such as sand, mica, or quartz.

Measure powder, Measure water, mix and mold!

Aqua Cast ideal mix is a ratio of 2.8 powder to 1 water.  Good news, it is forgiving and can be tailored.  You can mix a little more or less water in to get it to a pancake type thickness before pouring in your mold.

example: 100grams powder with 35g of water (or approximately 1/4c water for 3/4 powder) See link below for measuring tips if needed.

Mix by hand or with an electric mixing blade. Mix until uniform and smooth so there are no lumps.

Immediately pour into your mold and allow to settle. Any residual bubbles can be popped by agitating or tapping the mold. Allow to harden for 60-90 minutes before demolding (temperature and mix ratio dependent). Allow to dry for 24-48 hours to build cured strength.
